Janton Sp.z.o.o.

Destiny Written in the Name

At Dom Jantoń, every bottle tells a story. Sometimes it is the story of a vintage, sometimes of a place, and sometimes of the people who shape it.

When the Jantoń family first began creating the winery, the name of the village — Wymysłów Francuski — seemed like a charming coincidence. Today, as Dom Jantoń continues to craft sparkling wines using the traditional method, the connection feels almost symbolic. With every new vintage, that name reflects a deeper narrative — one that bridges Polish terroir with the heritage and inspiration of the great sparkling wine traditions of France.

In recent days, Beata Jantoń, winemaker of Dom Jantoń and a graduate of the University of Enology in Bordeaux and Le Cordon Bleu, was invited to participate in a special book project dedicated to the role of women in the Polish wine industry. The publication, currently titled “Women in Polish Winemaking. Tender and Courageous Stories,” will present personal journeys and perspectives of women who are helping to shape the modern face of Polish viticulture.

The project offered a moment to reflect on the path that led to the creation of Dom Jantoń — a journey defined by passion, perseverance and the courage to pursue a vision of premium Polish wines.

The photo session accompanying the project was captured by Inga Marciniak Photography, whose work beautifully portrays the authenticity and emotion behind these stories.

Polish winemaking today is increasingly defined by passionate, determined individuals, and Dom Jantoń is proud to be part of this evolving and vibrant community.
